At the vascular surgery clinic, we provide comprehensive diagnostics and minimally invasive treatment for venous insufficiency, varicose veins, spider veins, limb ischemia, and thrombosis.
During visits, the specialist performs a Doppler ultrasound of the lower limb vessels as well as the carotid and vertebral arteries. We prepare patients for vascular surgeries and provide post-operative care (post abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery, vascular prosthesis implantation, carotid artery unblocking).
A Doppler ultrasound is the core examination used in the diagnosis of arterial and venous diseases. It helps the doctors assess the direction and speed of blood flow. It is performed in a standing position, which allows for visualization of the valves and detection of potential reverse flow. The ultrasound is non-invasive and does not require prior preparation.
We use minimally invasive and effective surgical methods that allow for quick recovery. The procedures are conducted under local anesthesia and the patient can return home immediately after the procedure.
