Gained extensive knowledge and experience through numerous international internships and courses, including:

Advanced ultrasonography courses in vascular diagnostics, dialysis fistulas, and transplanted kidney assessment,
Training in endovenous laser treatment (EVLT) for varicose veins in Jena, Germany,
Courses in minimally invasive proctological procedures (laser treatment of hemorrhoids and pilonidal cysts) in Vitten, Germany,
Postgraduate studies in practical coloproctology at the Jagiellonian University.

For many years, associated with the Department of General and Vascular Surgery at the Provincial Specialist Hospital on Kamieńskiego Street in Wrocław.

Co-founder of the VenoMedica Specialist Medical Center and Pilonidal Clinic by VenoMedica – Poland’s first center dedicated to the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of pilonidal cysts.

In daily practice, focuses on:

Ultrasonographic diagnostics of vascular diseases,
Treatment of lower limb varicose veins (EVLT and sclerotherapy),
Treatment of pilonidal cysts (Bascom Cleft Lift procedure and SiLaT laser treatment).

Dr. Zapotoczny has co-authored numerous articles on vascular surgery, published in both domestic and international journals and a member of the International Pilonidal Society, an institute uniting experts in pilonidal cyst treatment.
