Tomasz Tomczyk, M.D.

A graduate of the Medical Academy in Wrocław. He spent his fifth year of studies at the Medical Faculty of Univerzita Karlova in Prague. He completed specialization in general surgery and is currently undergoing specialization in vascular surgery. He gained experience, among others: in the Department of General Surgery, the Department of Vascular Surgery and the Emergency Department of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wrocław, the Department of General Surgery and the Hospital Emergency Department of the Specialist Hospital. A. Sokołowski in Wałbrzych. He took part in international training, including: in Berlin, Ljubian and Maastricht and in the international Humacyte research program on biological vascular prostheses. He works as a senior assistant in the Vascular Surgery Department of the 4th Military Clinical Hospital in Wrocław. In his daily practice, he deals with the diagnosis and treatment of artery and vein diseases – he performs both classical and endovascular surgeries. In the SCM VenoMedica surgical clinic, he treats patients struggling with chronic wounds and ulcers. I treat ingrown toenails using classic wedge excision and phenolization of the nail matrix. He performs minor surgical procedures such as cutting out skin lesions and tumors of the subcutaneous tissue, removing foreign bodies from the subcutaneous tissue and incising abscesses. During visits, he performs Doppler ultrasound examination of the vessels of the lower limbs and carotid and vertebral arteries.
