He is also a co-founder of the VenoMedica Specialist Medical Center and the Pilonidal Center by VenoMedica, the first medical center in Poland to offer comprehensive diagnostics and treatment for pilonidal cysts.

He specializes in:

  • Laser treatment of lower limb varicose veins and sclerotherapy of spider veins.
  • Proctology procedures including laser treatment, sclerotherapy, and adhesive treatment for hemorrhoids.
  • Laser treatment and surgical removal of pilonidal cysts, followed by intergluteal cleft plastic surgery at the Pilonidal Center.

Dr. Zapotoczny has co-authored numerous articles on vascular surgery, published in both domestic and international journals. He is a member of the International Pilonidal Society. In 2018, Dr. Zapotoczny was awarded the title of Surgeon of the Year in the Hipokrates Plebiscite.

Krzysztof Jacyna, M.D.


Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy in Wrocław.nSpecialist in general surgery and vascular surgery. Dr. Jacyna completed his residency at the Clinical Department of Vascular Surgery of the 4th Military Clinical Hospital with Polyclinic in Wrocław. He then spent several years at the Department of Vascular, General, and Transplant Surgery at the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław. Currently, he serves as the senior assistant at the Vascular Department of the Provincial Specialist Hospital on ul. Kamieńskiego in Wrocław.

Dr. Jacyna has completed Doppler diagnostics courses at the Roztocze School of Ultrasound and has participated in numerous conferences and training sessions both in Poland and internationally. Notable courses include:

  • The European Vascular Course in Maastricht, Netherlands.
  • Training on endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms at L’Hôpital Universitaire de Lille, France.
  • Training at the Fuwai National Cardiovascular Diseases Centre in Beijing, China.

With 19 years of experience in diagnosing and treating vascular diseases, Dr. Jacyna specializes in the treatment of varicose veins, venous thrombosis, atherosclerosis of the lower limb arteries, atherosclerosis of the cephalad arteries. Łukasz Pałka, M.D.

Iwona Ździebło-Krankowska, M.D.


A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy in Wrocław. Specialist in general surgery and vascular surgery. Having successfully completed her postgraduate studies in practical coloproctology, she garnered invaluable experience at the Provincial Specialist Hospital on ul. Kamieńskiego in Wrocław.
